Machine Age Geese

As it originally appeared in the February 1951 Issue of "Outdoor Life"

A sudden influx of geese in the Wisconsin skies has hunters snapping up decoys and heading out into the cornfields before dawn. In the autumn sunrise, belly down, practicing their goose calls and experimenting with their decoy formations, Bob and Tom are excited about every aspect of the hunt. But it is not until the geese move south that they discover the surprising reason the migration pattern brought them over Wisconsin in the first place.
